News and Updates

The American Rescue Plan made important changes to the Child Tax Credit for most taxpayers in 2021. The maximum annual Child Tax Credit will be $3,000 between the ages of 6 and 17 and $3,600 for kids under 6. Depending on your adjusted gross income, taxpayers who receive the Child Tax Credit will get the maximum available credit. There is no action you need to take if you want the advance payments.
Qualifying members with an SCCU checking account will receive their Child Tax Credit direct deposit a day early with Priority Pay. Don't have a checking account yet? It's easy! Just click on the ad below to apply, then enroll in Priority Pay.
